I had the best chai cinnamon roll ever here — honestly incredible. Perfect balance of spice, softness, and sweetness. Great coffee too and a really nice, relaxed vibe. Will definitely be back.

We visited a café known for its exceptional coffee and high-quality coffee beans. Upon arrival, we found that all the seating, both indoors and outdoors, was occupied, so we opted for takeout. While we were there, the café became quite busy and crowded, especially for takeout orders. We tried their iced latte, and the flavor of the coffee was impressive, which prompted us to purchase their house-roasted beans as well. I highly recommend this café to anyone seeking quality, tasty coffee.

Serves seven seeds coffee in a wide variety between filter, drip, and espresso types! Highly recommend going with the baristas recommendation. I had the flat white, and it was exquisite. They KNOW how to do coffee here. A few indoor and outdoor spots for seating - they made room for me at the counter top as well. A bit crowded but still places to sit, which is unique for Melbourne coffee shops. Of course the really unique selling point of this shop is the chairs on the ceiling - quite a sight!

📍Brother Baba Budan, 359 Little Bourke St, Melbourne VIC 3000 @brotherbababudan A lovely unique coffee spot in Melbourne CBD. They are well known for their golden gate time specialty coffee. Also, you can find chairs hanging from the ceiling! I have tried their filter coffee before and this time, the golden gate time was also really nice. Save this for later🍀

In the heart of Melbourne’s ultra-competitive café scene, this spot stands out for its solid reputation and loyal following. The space inside is compact, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in charm – there’s a cosy, almost intimate feel that draws you in and invites you to slow down and savour the moment. It’s very much a coffee-first kind of place, and that focus shows. The brew here is well-executed – smooth, balanced, and satisfying, exactly what you’d hope for in a city known for setting high standards in every cup. It’s not trying to reinvent the wheel, but it doesn’t need to – the consistency and quality speak for themselves. There weren’t any real downsides to mention. While nothing stood out as particularly exceptional beyond the coffee, everything was reliably good – service, ambiance, and overall experience. It’s the kind of café you can count on for a dependable pick-me-up, whether you’re a local or just passing through. In a city filled with standout cafés, this one earns its place with quiet confidence.

Out of all the coffee places I've tried in Melbourne. This place is my favorite. Their flat white is so smooth and creamy. The female who has dark hair and glasses is mega knowledgable and friendly. She explained to me what type of coffee was in the bags, as I wanted to take them back to Europe for emergencies when I can't be bothered to grind my own beans. Top service from her.

Really enjoyed my cappuccino. It had a great espresso flavor with beautifully textured milk and just the right amount of foam. Friendly service and a nice, relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend stopping by for a coffee.

Brother Baba Budan — one of those places that just feels like Melbourne coffee. Small space, always busy, and everything runs with a kind of controlled chaos that somehow works perfectly. You can tell they’ve been doing this for a long time — the workflow is fast, the energy is high, and the coffee is consistently solid. It’s not about overcomplicating things here, it’s about doing the basics really well. Simple, reliable, and exactly what you want from a city café. This is one of those spots you keep coming back to. @HeavenlySipsCoffee

Delectable creamy coffees for the coffee connoisseurs of Melbourne! Lighting and vibe was gorgeous! Approved by the local gays. It’s dainty, lively and spirited. So cute to take your friends too and they will think you’re really cool! A splendid experience overall 🤩😍 ☕️

Popped in for a long black as needed a coffee fix and I have heard good things about this place. They use seven seeds coffee and you can tell the baristas know what they are doing. Coffee was really tasty, no bitter aftertaste and the right temperature. Love places that give you the bubbly water to finish with. Friendly service as well and nice vibe with music that isn't too lous for a conversation.
